Clear groups of two or more touching tiles of one colour · a group of n scores (n−2)², so save up for big ones · tiles fall down and empty columns close up · clear the board for +1000 · ARROWS move · SPACE clear the group · S size / colours · U undo

How to play Same Game

Remove connected groups of two or more matching tiles. Tiles fall down and empty columns close up. Larger groups score more, and clearing the board earns a bonus. Play with the original Nickelbar rules and board drawings. Help below the game lists its keyboard and mouse shortcuts. Your current game stays in this browser tab.

Hover or use the arrows to select a coloured group.
Click or press Space to remove it.
Clear as much as possible before no matching groups remain.

Keyboard & mouse controls

Hover moves the cursor, LEFT does what SPACE does

Arrow keys: Move or select a square
Space / Enter: Play the selected move, or resume
N / P: New game / pause
H / Tab: Help and settings / choose a game
U: Undo (where available)
