Assumptions and limitations
- Assumes 52 equally paid weeks and five workdays each week. Unpaid leave, variable schedules, overtime premiums and deductions are omitted.
- Monthly pay is an average equivalent, not four weeks of pay. Biweekly means two weeks, not twice each month.
- Amounts use a single consistent currency. Currency selector conversion factors are a captured static snapshot; they are not current FX quotes.
- Clear the unknown field before solving an inverse. Locks keep known values fixed; contradictory locked values require correction.
- Domain review limits calculations to the documented finite scenario; original captured equations, inverses and unit options are retained.
Common questions
How should I interpret the example?
Hourly pay of 18 for 40 hours per week gives 720 weekly, 3120 monthly and 37440 annually.
References
Require the documented finite model domain. Hourly pay cannot be negative. Use weekly work hours greater than zero and at most 168.
