Formula and method
In initial displayed units, Glass density 1, Length (l) 20, Width (w) 10, Depth (d) 10 gives Area 200, Volume 200, Total weight 0.2.
Bulk mass = plan area×fill thickness×bulk density.

Assumptions and limitations
- Use bulk fill density, not solid-glass density. Material presets are approximate scales; packing and particle size affect actual coverage. The result is a volume-and-mass estimate, not a burner compatibility or installation recommendation.
- Use compatible measurement units. Clear an unknown before solving for it, and lock independent known values when comparing changes. Currency choices label amounts without exchange-rate conversion.
Common questions
Can I solve backward from the result?
Clear the unknown and enter independent known values. A rounded whole count cannot uniquely recover a continuous dimension; keep the original measured dimensions for procurement planning.
