What is the difference between SRT and VTT?

SRT uses numbered cues and comma-separated milliseconds. WebVTT begins with a WEBVTT header and uses a period before milliseconds. This tool converts basic timed text between them.

What are the limits and details?

Cue positioning, regions, styles, and speaker markup are not retained. This exports plain subtitle text and timestamps.

Limits: 500,000 characters per text field; files up to 20 MB each, 10 files and 50 MB total. Processing stops after 30 seconds.
