Sinking-Fund Planner
Plan for a future purchase with a dated envelope target. Compare the current saved balance with the target and calculate a monthly amount from your chosen deadline.
How much should I set aside each month for a future purchase?
Choose an expense envelope, target amount and target month. The planner subtracts the envelope’s current balance from the target and divides the remainder across the months up to and including the deadline. Review the rounded monthly amount and explicitly add an assignment if it fits your budget. Expired targets are flagged for review.

What are the limits and details?
One browser-local ledger with 50 accounts, 200 categories, 50,000 transactions and a 20 MB backup. Currency and 0, 2 or 3 decimal places are fixed once accounts exist. CSV imports allow 5,000 rows or 5 MB. Budget history spans 360 months; forecasts span 366 days. Recurring suggestions are estimates from three observations. Reports include up to 500 selected entries and receipt references, not attachments. No bank access, payments, tax advice, currency conversion or automatic service changes.
Records stay in this browser. Keep backups before clearing site data. Use one currency per ledger; scheduled amounts are projections from your entries.
