How can I find recurring payments in my transaction history?

Record or import at least three outgoing payments to the same payee in one account. Choose a review date to scan weekly, fortnightly and monthly patterns over the previous 400 days. Matches allow a two-day date shift and a 7.5 percent amount difference. Review each suggestion before confirming a schedule and linking its observed entries.

Is this tool free, and are my files uploaded?

This tool is free with no account required. The work happens in your browser. Your input and files are not sent to a processing server.

What are the limits and details?

One browser-local ledger with 50 accounts, 200 categories, 50,000 transactions and a 20 MB backup. Currency and 0, 2 or 3 decimal places are fixed once accounts exist. CSV imports allow 5,000 rows or 5 MB. Budget history spans 360 months; forecasts span 366 days. Recurring suggestions are estimates from three observations. Reports include up to 500 selected entries and receipt references, not attachments. No bank access, payments, tax advice, currency conversion or automatic service changes.

Records stay in this browser. Keep backups before clearing site data. Use one currency per ledger; scheduled amounts are projections from your entries.
