Formula and method
For the worked example, Segment MC = 3, Slanted height (MO) = 5.
Base apothem=s/(2 tan(π/n)); circumradius=s/(2 sin(π/n))

Assumptions and limitations
- The apex lies above the center of a regular n-gon. Side and height are positive.
- Custom n is an integer of at least three. Face slope uses the apothem; edge slope uses the circumradius.
Common questions
How do I use this relation?
Choose the relevant mode and enter independent known quantities. Leave a missing value empty where the control permits an inverse.
What do the displayed numbers mean?
The result follows the stated mathematical model. All dimensions must use consistent units; available unit selectors handle conversions.
