Formula and method
Twenty guests over three hours give 60 modeled alcoholic servings: 24 beer, 22 wine glasses and 14 spirits servings. Twenty-two wine glasses correspond to 4.4 five-glass bottle equivalents.
Total servings = guests × hours; mixed allocation = 40% beer, then 60% of remaining servings as wine

Assumptions and limitations
- These are captured inventory assumptions, not consumption recommendations. Wine bottles in the mixed mode may be fractional: round up yourself when buying whole bottles. Guest preferences, serving sizes and nonalcoholic alternatives matter.
- Beer stock is modeled in 500 mL units before changing the container selector. Some customary-volume options retain rounded captured conversion factors; whole-container shopping may need rounding upward.
Common questions
What does this estimate assume?
These are captured inventory assumptions, not consumption recommendations. Wine bottles in the mixed mode may be fractional: round up yourself when buying whole bottles. Guest preferences, serving sizes and nonalcoholic alternatives matter.
How should I enter a different quantity?
Choose the displayed measurement units before entering a value. Clear the unknown field, enter compatible known values, and use the preserved inverse branches where available. One-way estimates and rounded package outputs keep their original direction.
