How can I reduce the number of points in a freehand drawing?

Draw strokes or open a stroke project, then adjust the simplification tolerance. Compare the original and optimized paths, inspect the point reduction and export SVG or project JSON. The optimizer preserves stroke endpoints; a larger tolerance can remove fine detail.

Keep the line. Lose the extra points.

Draw with a mouse, pen or finger. Compare the original and simplified paths.

Gray paths show the original. The colored paths are the optimized result. Higher tolerance removes detail while preserving stroke endpoints. Downloads use the current color and width; project JSON preserves editable points. Open a project to work without pointer drawing.
