Fair Household Chore Rota
Plan household chores, take turns and keep a record of who did what. Choose repeat dates, eligible people and an assignment strategy, then save a selected printable rota.
How can we share household chores more fairly?
Add people and chores with estimated effort, due dates and eligible helpers. Choose a turn-taking strategy and record completed or skipped work. Each action advances the schedule and records the planned person separately from the actual performer. Review assignments together and download a selected rota; fairness still depends on the household’s own discussion.

Is this tool free, and are my files uploaded?
This tool is free with no account required. The work happens in your browser. Your input and files are not sent to a processing server.
What are the limits and details?
One browser-local household with up to 30 people, 500 chores and 20,000 history entries in a 15 MB backup. History comparisons span at most 366 days; CSV exports allow 5,000 rows and rota/proposal selections allow 200 chores. Proposals use each chore’s current next occurrence and estimated effort, not a complete future recurrence calendar. No accounts, cross-device sync, messages or automatic reminders.
Records save in this browser. Keep a backup before clearing site data. Saved reports do not update automatically; proposals need review and do not measure fairness.
