Formula and method
Effective sensitivity is DPI times the game sensitivity multiplier. Percentage sensitivity is divided by 100; decimal sensitivity is used directly.
eDPI = DPI * sensitivity * sensitivity_type; sensitivity = eDPI / (DPI * sensitivity_type)
Worked example
Enter these known values and leave the other values blank.
- Game sensitivity type
- Valorant (decimal)
- 🖱️ Mouse DPI
- 800 dots per inch
- 🎯 Mouse sensitivity (decimal) / 🎯 Mouse sensitivity (%)
- 0.5
- eDPI (effective dots per inch)
- 400
Assumptions and limitations
- Effective sensitivity is DPI times the game sensitivity multiplier. Percentage sensitivity is divided by 100; decimal sensitivity is used directly.
- The displayed low, medium and high ranges are captured game-specific heuristics, not universal performance recommendations. The same product across different game engines does not guarantee the same physical aiming motion.
