How do I reconcile a bank statement against my own records?

Choose an account and enter the statement closing date and ending balance. Mark the recorded transactions that cleared by that date. The helper adds them to the opening balance and compares the result with the statement. Lock a statement only when the difference is zero; reopen it before correcting its locked financial entries.

This tool is free with no account required. The work happens in your browser. Your input and files are not sent to a processing server.

What are the limits and details?

One browser-local ledger with 50 accounts, 200 categories, 50,000 transactions and a 20 MB backup. Currency and 0, 2 or 3 decimal places are fixed once accounts exist. CSV imports allow 5,000 rows or 5 MB. Budget history spans 360 months; forecasts span 366 days. Recurring suggestions are estimates from three observations. Reports include up to 500 selected entries and receipt references, not attachments. No bank access, payments, tax advice, currency conversion or automatic service changes.

Records stay in this browser. Keep backups before clearing site data. Use one currency per ledger; scheduled amounts are projections from your entries.
