Formula and method

A straight-up stake of 10 wins a net 350; its expected net change on a 37-pocket wheel is −10/37.

Net payout = (36/b − 1) stake; expected net = payout × b/D − stake × (1 − b/D)

Assumptions and limitations

  • Standard 35:1 through 1:1 net payouts are used; the returned stake is excluded from the net winning payout.
  • Pockets are equally likely and each spin is independent.
  • This is a model of a bet, not a recommendation or a promise of any outcome.
  • Currency selectors use undated historical reference exchange factors from the captured model. They are not current market rates. For a payout in one currency, keep the stake and all monetary results in that same currency.
