What happens when a polygon has self-intersections?

The worker reports validity before and after repair and may split invalid rings into valid parts. Spatial cleanup also transforms coordinates between selected EPSG coordinate reference systems.

What are the limits and details?

Use GeoJSON with at most 1,000 features and 100,000 coordinate positions. Review repaired geometry: self-intersections may become multiple polygons or collections. Coordinates use x/y order; reprojection does not add missing elevation data.

Limits: one file up to 8 MB; 500,000 characters per text field. One job runs at a time on the worker, with a two-minute limit.
