Formula and method
Three hours of care per day for four days at $25 per hour costs $300 before any additional charges.
Total cost = hours per day × days × hourly rate

Assumptions and limitations
- Enter your agreed rate; the tool does not estimate local market pricing. The same hourly rate and daily care duration apply throughout.
- Hours per day must be between 0 and 24. Days and monetary amounts may be zero but cannot be negative. Fractional equivalent days are allowed for proportional estimates.
- Extras, taxes, minimum bookings, overnight flat fees and holiday premiums are not included. Add charges from the sitter’s agreement separately.
- Currency selectors use captured fixed conversion factors, not live exchange rates. For a local quote, select the same currency for the rate and total.
Common questions
Should I enter total hours for the whole booking?
Enter hours per day. The calculator multiplies that duration by the number of days before applying the hourly rate.
Can I calculate an overnight flat fee?
This model uses an hourly rate. An overnight quote may have a different pricing structure and cannot be inferred from hours alone.
References
Bookify permits zero care and zero cost while limiting care hours per day to 24.
