Measured Data Surface Viewer
Turn x, y and z measurements into a 3D surface. Rotate the view, add contour lines and download the chart.
Can I plot a 3D surface from measured grid coordinates?
Upload CSV rows containing x, y and z measurements and map those columns. The viewer organizes unique coordinates into a rectangular grid, leaving missing cells empty. Rotate or zoom the surface, toggle contours, and export the image or project.
Your data, clearly.
On your deviceLimits: a grid with 2–100 distinct x and y coordinates, up to 10,000 measured points and 500,000 characters.
A little data. A clearer picture.
Choose your data and settings, then draw the chart to explore the details.
Three simple steps
How to use Measured Data Surface Viewer
Paste or open a dataset, then map the relevant columns.
Draw the chart, inspect the warnings, and zoom into the details.
Download an SVG or PNG image, the report, or a reusable project.

Is this tool free, and are my files uploaded?
This tool is free with no account required. The work happens in your browser. Your input and files are not sent to a processing server.
What are the limits and details?
Every row must contain finite numbers and each x/y pair must be unique. Missing grid cells remain gaps; this tool does not interpolate scattered measurements. WebGL support is required. Surface imagery is rasterized inside SVG exports.
Limits: a grid with 2–100 distinct x and y coordinates, up to 10,000 measured points and 500,000 characters.
