Decision Tree Builder
Build a decision tree with questions and answers. Check its branches, follow a path and download the project.
How can I check whether a decision tree has complete answer paths?
Use decision nodes for questions and label each outgoing connection with an answer. Validate the structure to find cycles, multiple parents, missing answers or multiple starting points. Preview the tree by choosing answers from the starting node and review the path taken.
Make the connections.
On your deviceImport graph JSON
Use directed: true or false, a nodes array with unique IDs, and edges with source and target IDs.
Keyboard: focus a node and use arrow keys to move it; hold Shift for larger steps. Labels and notes are available in the editor below.
Check the decision paths
The tree has one starting point, no cycles, and labeled decision branches.
Nodes & notes
Deleting a node also deletes its connections. Undo restores both. Keep at least one node.

Is this tool free, and are my files uploaded?
This tool is free with no account required. The work happens in your browser. Your input and files are not sent to a processing server.
What are the limits and details?
Validation checks graph structure and answer labels, not whether your advice is correct or all real-world choices are represented. The guided preview requires one directed, acyclic tree with one parent per descendant. It does not execute external actions.
Limits: 500 nodes, 2,000 edges and 500,000 project characters. Expensive operations run in a cancellable 30-second browser worker.
