Formula and method
From January 1 to January 11, 2024, ten days have elapsed.
Elapsed days = later date − birth date
Worked example
Enter these known values and leave the other values blank.
- Date of birth
- 2024-01-01
- Current date
- 2024-01-11
- Your age
- 10 days
Assumptions and limitations
- The day count excludes the starting day. Dates use civil calendar arithmetic; months and years in the unit control are fixed average durations, not completed calendar months or birthdays.
- The source requires the later date to be strictly later than birth date, even though the age bound separately permits zero.
